CO2 Storage
Corrosion resistance is vital in carbon capture technology, especially in the post-combustion capture process. The presence of corrosive gases like CO2 and other impurities in the flue gas can lead to the formation of corrosive compounds such as carbonic acid. These corrosive compounds can degrade the costly metallic materials used in capture equipment, resulting in potential safety hazards, increased maintenance costs, and reduced efficiency.
Fiberglass Ducting
From the start of the carbon capture process, our high-temperature fiberglass ducting helps optimize post-combustion operations with a cost-effective alternative to metal systems. We offer the unique ability to design and manufacture large-scale ductwork systems and tanks—either on site or at one of our global manufacturing facilities. Using proprietary large-diameter winding equipment and experienced field crews, we deliver complete glass-reinforced vinyl ester (GRVE) systems up to 40 ft and tanks up to 120 ft in diameter.
Capable of withstanding temperatures up to 325°F (162°C)
Design and manufacture complete duct systems up to 40’ ID
