Step 1
Run in Hole
The liner top packer and liner hanger can be rotated to setting depth while connected to the running tools. Once setting depth is achieved after working the liner to the bottom, circulate at least one to two full bottoms-up volumes to condition the mud and clean the hole.
The string must be picked up and placed in tension.

Step 2
Step 3
Drop Setting Ball
The setting ball is dropped and lands in the running tool ball seat or landing collar.
Step 4
Set Liner Hanger
Apply pressure against the setting ball to set the hydraulic liner hanger. The pressure will shear screws, shift the hydraulic cylinder, and set the hanger slips.
Step 5
Shear HRS Hydraulic Lock
The pressure will also shift the hydraulic lock on the HRS setting tool, unlocking the setting tool in order to be rotationally released. Slack off weight is then applied in order to set the liner top packer.
Step 6
Rotational Release and Pick up
Release the setting tool by rotating to the right. Pick up to confirm setting tool is free.
Once the liner hanger is set and setting tool released, the ball seat can be sheared out and the cement job is ready to start. Cement is displaced with the drill pipe dart which is released from the cement head.

Step 7
Step 8
Pump Down Drill Pipe Dart
Drilling mud is pumped behind the drill pipe dart in order to displace cement until reaching the liner wiper plug.
Step 9
Drill Pipe Dart Lands in Liner Wiper Plug
Once the dart reaches the liner wiper plug, a pressure spike may serve as an indication that the drill pipe dart has latched into the liner wiper plug.
Step 10
Release of Liner Wiper Plug
Pressure is increased to activate the liner wiper plug and displace cement through the liner.
Step 11
Plug Bump
Once the liner wiper plug reaches the landing collar, a pressure spike will be observed as the liner wiper plug “bumps” into the landing collar.
Step 12
Pick Up Packer Actuator
Pick up running tools to expose the packer actuator dogs above the top of the PBR and apply weight to set the packer.
Step 13
Set Liner Top Packer
Weight is slacked off on top of the PBR to set the liner top packer element and activate the hold down slips.
Step 14
Retrieve Setting Tools
Pull the setting tool out of the hole. The set liner top packer and liner hanger are now fully activated and cemented in hole.
